Tourist to Pilgrim
What kind of traveler am I?
Summer is travel season – all around, folks are coming and going, journeying to enjoy new sights and sounds and tastes. Scripture likens our life to a journey. So it is worth asking – what kind of traveler am I?
Some are tourists, expecting things to be ready for their arrival. But the bible ultimately calls us to be pilgrims, seeking to honor what is sacred in the people and places we encounter each day.
