Growing a Seed
What are you hoping for 2026?
In Colossians chapter 1, the apostle tells us the most important thing that he never stops asking God for: ‘that God would fill you with the knowledge of his will, in all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.’
Knowledge, wisdom, understanding—don’t we need more of that in 2026?
And the reason we must pray for these virtues over and over is because they’re “slow-drip virtues.” Gaining true wisdom is less like clicking a download button and more like growing a seed. Real wisdom is gained a single hard-won insight at a time.
So here’s a challenge for 2026: Write this prayer on a notecard, post it and pray it regularly.
Because God wants to fill You daily in 2026 with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding that His Spirit gives.
