Just then, the angel Clarence shows up and guides George to see the difference his life makes, and could make, far beyond what he realized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christmas is all about the coming of God in human flesh, in the person of Jesus Christ.&nbsp; And this event teaches us that our ordinary lives are capable of hosting and welcoming the infinite majesty of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More on the topic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An excellent article on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.csun.edu\/~med61203\/ME%20Film%20History%2002.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Frank Capra<\/a>&nbsp;the author &amp; producer of the original &#8220;It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life&#8221; film was published in 2002.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=40KcrrfbJ6o&amp;t=56s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Real angels<\/a>&nbsp;are actually terrifyingly powerful and beautiful!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It\u2019s amazing that Jesus Christ affirmed small towns when He chose&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.desiringgod.org\/articles\/god-grew-up-in-a-forgotten-town\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nazareth<\/a>!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elizabethturnage.com\/daily-prayer\/a-prayer-about-not-being-alone-at-christmas-4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A prayer<\/a>&nbsp;to help us recognize the community around us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anything but ordinary.
